MACHINE OPERATOR

DAY SHIFT, MONDAY – FRIDAY ONLY

POSITION SUMMARY

Safely operate production machinery in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment while adhering to company and regulatory guidelines to ensure constant product quality.

Job Description:

• Operate assigned production machine efficiently and effectively including set up, operation, change overs, troubleshooting, and shut down

• Follow and fulfill assigned production schedule

• Comply with Quality Assurance SOPs to ensure accuracy

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures and all Safety rules and regulations

• Report any known or suspected food safety and quality problems immediately

• Follow strict and precise Company policies and procedures

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Previous manufacturing experience

• Basic math and reasoning skills

• Ability to use basic tools (box cutter, radio, etc.)

Work Environment:

• Noise: Can be loud – earplugs are provided for daily use

• Stand and move all day

• Frequently bend, twist, and lift at least 50 lbs.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn at all times including company uniform, hair net, beard net if applicable, safety glasses, earplugs, bumper cap.  All provided.
